The SST V7 lets you experience unbridled speed. The updated version of this venerable wave kite features a lighter, more robust Dacron frame that allows for precise turns and limitless drift.

The SST V7 is still a kitesurfing kite that pushes the envelope. We have used a brand-new, lighter Dacron that offers even more performance. The SST V7 is one of the lightest three-strut kites ever created thanks to this innovative material and our thinnest and lightest struts ever. Ben Wilson, a Slingshot team rider and a pioneer of kitesurfing, keeps challenging our development team to push the boundaries of speed and drift. Our design team rose to the challenge and produced a more refined SST V7 that boasts lightning-fast reaction and precision turning, building on the SST V6 foundation that Ben fell in love with.

NEW REDUCED WEIGHT DACRON

Slingshot is continuously experimenting with and studying new materials. Our leading edge and struts now use a new Dacron that is lighter and more rigid than our previous Dacron frames.

RAPID RESPONSIVE WINGTIP

Together with our IRS bridle technology, the SST V7’s increased wingtip curve boosts speed and responsiveness, dramatically revolutionizing its upwind performance and water relaunch.

MICRO STRUTS

Our lightest and thinnest struts ever are used in the SST V7. These struts with a smaller diameter provide the kite enough of overall structure while still minimizing weight and drag to allow for next-level drift and reaction.

STREAMLINED PULLEY-LESS BRIDLE SYSTEM

Riders will have a more immediate and direct input from the kite by doing away with pulleys. We employ static, ultra-thin bridle lines. This streamlined bridle system will reduce the amount of drag that riders experience when flying.

ONE PUMP SPEED SYSTEM

A new version of the Slingshot innovation has been developed. Our One Pump tubes have been adjusted to be more streamlined and robust, and their diameters have been increased for cleaner airflow.

COMPACT C CANOPY

provides the perfect blend of stable, smooth, sheet-and-go power delivery with friendly, responsive handling. a flexible shape that performs well in any setting.

4X4 CANOPY TECH

The Teijin 4×4 reinforced ripstop nylon used to construct the SST V7. This results in the strongest, stiffest, and most resilient canopy currently on the market. Particularly in strong winds, your kite will last longer and feel more stable in the air.

MULTIPLE ATTACHMENT POINTS

Depending on your riding style and the conditions at a given session, you can adjust the handling, power, and performance of the kite using several connection points built into it.
